ptx/CLUSTERS Administration
Course Goal
: This course covers the issues associated with installing, configuring and managing systems within the ptx/CLUSTERS environment. The course covers the ptx/CLUSTERS V2.X release on NUMA-Q and S5000 systems.Audience:
Personnel responsible for administration and management of DYNIX/ptx systems running ptx/CLUSTERS.Prerequisites:
DYNIX/ptx System Administration I, DYNIX/ptx System Administration II, and ptx/SVM Administration courses or equivalent skill level.Course Objectives:
Describe the architecture of ptx/CLUSTERS 2.X.
Describe the process of planning for a ptx/CLUSTERS installation.
Install ptx/CLUSTERS 2.X and configure a DYNIX/ptx cluster.
Troubleshoot common problems associated with the management of a
ptx/CLUSTERS V2.X system.
Describe and execute procedures used for management of shareable devices in a
ptx/CLUSTERS 2.X environment.
Plan and execute failover procedures in a ptx/CLUSTERS V2.X environment with
ptx/CTC v1.1.X.
